Joseph N. Manarino of Riverhead died Dec. 26 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. He was 69.
The son of William and Marie Manarino, he was born May 8, 1947, in Peekskill, N.Y.
On March 8, 2000, he married Michele Smith in Riverhead.
Mr. Manarino was the owner of Kapplers Pub in Patchogue. He was a member of Good Fellows and the Suffolk County Restaurant Association.
Family members said he enjoyed fishing, boating and golfing.
Mr. Manarino is survived by his wife; his son, Joseph, of Hotsville; his daughter, Danielle Vona of Florida; brother, William, of Holbrook; sister, Elena O’Mahoney of Florida and five children.
The family will receive visitors Thursday, Dec. 29, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service will take place at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
