Jason Damianos of Mattituck, owner of Jason’s Vineyard in Jamesport, died suddenly Dec. 30. He was 49.
The family will receive visitors Thursday, Jan. 5, and Friday, Jan. 6, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. both days at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. Prayer services will be held during the Thursday visiting hours at 8 p.m., officiated by Pastor Keith Benson of True Light Church in Cutchogue. Firematic services will be held during the Friday visiting hours beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at St. Louis de Montfort R.C. Church in Sound Beach, officiated by the Rev. Francis Pizzarelli, S.M.M. Interment will follow at Sea View Cemetery in Mount Sinai.
Memorial donations may be made to Mattituck Fire Department, Hope House Ministries in Port Jefferson or Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead.
