Former Riverhead Anita McKine of Bellport died March 27 at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. She was 50.
The daughter of James and Addie (Blackman) McKine, she was born Oct. 16, 1966, at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. She graduated from Riverhead High School in 1985.
Ms. McKine worked as a secretary for Jennings Asphalt.
Family members said she enjoyed cooking and baking.
Predeceased by her parents, Ms. McKine is survived by her children, Dennis Carer Jr. of Riverhead, Latrice Carter of Riverhead and Taiheem McKay of Riverhead; sisters, Sarah McKine, Sirena Childress and Lena Washington and brother James and Curtis McKine and Preston Washington and one grandchild.
Cremation was private. A memorial will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue.
