Robert J. Stanevich, 65, of Aquebogue died May 9 at his home.
The son of George and Margaret Stanevich, he was born Dec. 29, 1951 in Maspeth.
Mr Stanevich was self-employed as an HVAC mechanic.
He is survived by his sons, Jason, Ryan, Robert and Steven Stanevich; his brothers, George and John Stanevich; grandchildren, Violet, Elsie, Ena, Austin, Rebecca, Eva and Ivan Stanevich; his girlfriend, Annmarie Terra and his former wife, Barbara Stanevich.
The family will receive visitors Friday, May 12, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service will take place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 13, at St. Isidore R.C. Church in Riverhead, the Rev. Robert Kuznik officiating. Cremation will be private.
