Former longtime Riverhead resident Carolyn S. Auerbach of East Patchogue died Jan. 24. She was 69.
She was born Jan. 3, 1945, in Brooklyn to Tom and Ruth (Robbins) Hirsch. Most recently, she was employed as a sales associate at Walmart in Riverhead.
Ms. Auerbach is survived by her daughters, Dorri and Penny, both of East Patchogue, and three grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. A graveside service took place Jan. 29 at New Montefiore Cemetery in Farmingdale.
