John D. Boehle of Calverton died Sept. 13 at his home. He was 72.
He was born Aug. 4, 1942, in Brooklyn to Agnes (Collins) and John Boehle. Mr. Bohele served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1970 and was the owner of ILE Service in Calverton.
Mr. Boehle was predeceased by his daughter Veronica Baggett in 1995 and is survived by his wife, Claire; his sons, Christopher, of Staten Island and Shawn of Riverhead; his daughter Lisa Dabrowski of Laurel; his sister, Judith, of Riverhead; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Riverhead, officiated by Father Larry Duncklee. Interment will take place at Calverton National Cemetery.
