Lawrence J. Liggan of Riverhead died at his home July 29. He was 74.
He was born June 11, 1941, in Cumberland, Va. to Virginia (Copeland) and John Liggan.
Mr. Liggan was a farmer for Avery Young Farm in Aquebogue. He was a member of Tyre Lodge 91 in Flanders.
Predeceased by his wife, Linda, in 2002, Mr. Liggan is survived by his daughters Courtnee Liggan of Riverhead and Eboni Marshall of Calverton; his sister, Laura Ward of the Bronx and three grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Galilee Church of God in Christ in Riverhead, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at Riverhead Cemetery.
Arrangements were in the care of Reginald H. Tuthill Funeral Home in Riverhead.
