John L. Robinson of Riverhead died Aug 4 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. He was 62.
The son of Mary Edley and Eugene Robinson Sr., he was born Jan. 26, 1954, in Riverhead.
Mr. Robinson was self-employed as a carpenter in Riverhead.
He is survived by his father, Deacon Eugene Robinson Sr.; his mother, Mary Edley; his girlfriend, Rose Hamrick; his daughter, Tasha; his son Lamar; his siblings, Everett (Shirley) Robinson, Eugene (Caulie) Robinson, Mary Brown, Robin (Ralph) Brown and Yvette Bright; and his grandchildren, Antonio, Nikia and Nathan.
The family will receive visitors Tuesday, Aug. 9, from to 7 to 9 p.m. at Galilee Church of God in Christ in Riverhead. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 10, at Galilee Church of God in Christ, officiated by the Revs. Roy and Lillian Pennon.
